The nursery started in 2008 as a project of the Department of Social Development and has provided 13 unemployed locals with jobs.  Phezukomkhono Training Services provided training on how to run and manage the nursery where they grow a variety of vegetables.  The group hopes to start a florist soon as well.  The project also provides educational tours for the schools in the area where they can learn how to grow their own veggies.  They are open seven days a week from 07h00 to 16h30.  Seedlings and vegetables are available for purchase and tourist are welcome.
