The Baviaans is rich in rare and beautiful fauna and flora, which is often only visible to a trained eye. Tours are therefore available where nature enthusiasts can learn the finer details of the Karoo with a trained local guide.

These guides received training through the Baviaans Municipality and have all received a qualification in nature field guiding. They also all have a level one first aid certificate.
